Biography

Professor Taneya Williamson-McKie, ICE’s Dean of Hospitality & Hotel Management, has over 20 years of experience working in the hospitality field, specifically at major hotel corporations. Professor Williamson-McKie’s most recent experience was at Hudson Community College where she was an Adjunct Professor of Hospitality & Business Management for 15 years. She also brings a wealth of industry experience to her new position including General Manager at Extended Stay America, overseeing all property operations to achieve profitability, guest satisfaction and efficiency while maintaining brand standards. She also held management positions at Princeton University, the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Concordia Private Residences & Golf Course and Marriott. 

Professor Williamson-McKie holds a bachelor’s degree in Food Service Management from Johnson and Wales University and a master’s degree in Hospitality Management from Fairleigh Dickinson University. She also participated in a study abroad program in Switzerland and is an AHLA Certified Hospitality Educator.
