By now, many of us may have our holiday menus planned, but have you considered a holiday cocktail? The refreshing chill of peppermint marries with the bite of bourbon or brandy for a festive flavor. For extra texture and a touch of fun, craft cocktail rims from crushed peppermint candies.

Snowshoe Cocktail

Yield: 1 Drink


  • 1.5 ounces bourbon or brandy
  • 1.5 ounces peppermint schnapps


  1. Add the liquors to a mixing glass filled with ice.
  2. Stir until well chilled.
  3. Strain into a cocktail glass.
